Jonathan Flint (UCLA behavioral geneticist, expert in the genetic determinants of depression and Depression Grand Challenge Executive Committee team member) was quoted in an article discussing research results from a study pooling data sets to glean genetic information about depression. Jonathan Flint explains, “the risk variants point to genes that are involved in the disease, and thus provide clues to how depression arises.”
