UCLA receives recognition in sustainability innovations category for the Sustainable LA Grand Challenge at the California Higher Education Sustainability Conference

Sustainable LA Grand Challenge Director, Cassie Rauser, accepts the award for sustainability recognition at the 14th annual California Higher Education Sustainability Conference.

UCLA was recognized with four Best Practice Awards at the 14th annual California Higher Education Sustainability Conference at UC Santa Barbara held July 9-12, 2018. UCLA received recognition in the sustainability innovations category for the UCLA Sustainable LA Grand Challenge (SLA GC), with the campus also being recognized in the categories of water efficiency and site quality, transportation, and student sustainability leadership. The SLA GC also congratulates UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica Chief Administrative Officer Paul Watkins for being recognized as the 2018 UC Sustainability Champion.
