UCLA Luskin Center for Innovation report referenced in San Diego Union-Tribune story about electric vehicle program

The San Diego Union-Tribune reported that the San Diego County Board Supervisors voted unanimously to implement a state-funded rebate program for electric vehicles. The program, “Clean Cars 4 All,” provides between $5,000 and $10,000 in rebates for low-income drivers to purchase electric vehicles. The San Diego Union-Tribune referenced a report published earlier this month by UCLA’s Luskin Center for Innovation, stating that the South Coast district’s “…outreach effort has helped people replace more than 2,000 vehicles since the program began.”
