Experts say climate change will decrease economic productivity and increase health risks
November 4, 2019UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs Assistant Professor Jisung Park’s research was featured in a story on Phys.org. The story focuses on a study that Park and Patrick Behrer, an environmental and developmental economist and Ph.D. candidate at Harvard University, are conducting on the impacts of heat on workers and the economy.
The study builds on Park’s research that examined the effects of heat stress on students’ academic performance. It is supported by a grant from Harvard’s Climate Change Solutions Fund.
