Sustainable LA Grand Challenge featured in cover story of UCLA magazine
March 16, 2020The UCLA Sustainable LA Grand Challenge (SLA GC) is highlighted in the cover story of the Spring 2020 UCLA magazine, along with several faculty members whose research is advancing our understanding and response to the climate crisis.

Cassie Rauser, executive director of the SLA GC, is quoted about the 2019 UCLA Sustainable LA Grand Challenge Report Card on Los Angeles County Water. Rauser said she believes that the county’s overall grade of a C+ for water sustainability will improve with a $300-million-a-year bond allocated for stormwater capture and additional improvements.
