UCLA’s Jisung Park discusses link between climate change and student learning on NPR’s Morning Edition

Jisung Park (assistant professor of public policy at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs) was interviewed on NPR’s Morning Edition to discuss his research on the effects of climate change on student learning.

Park and colleagues found that students who experience a hotter-than-average year appear to experience 1% less learning on average. Underrepresented minority students were found to have experienced between 2% and 3% less learning.
