Sustainable LA Grand Challenge partners on Sustainability Cross-Campus Innovation Challenge

September 24, 2020

The Sustainable LA Grand Challenge (SLA GC) is a partner of this year’s Sustainability Cross-Campus Innovation Challenge, hosted by the Easton Technology Management Center at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

The goal of the Challenge is to cultivate the formations of multidisciplinary student teams across UCLA to identify business ideas that use technology to address pressing societal issues. During the 2020-21 academic year, teams will develop data-driven business plans with the goal of significantly reducing or removing the carbon from the atmosphere.

The Challenge kicks off virtually on October 6, 2020 at 5 p.m. PST. Join Professor Terry Kramer, Easton Center faculty director, in a moderated conversation with Eric Hoek (director of the SLA GC) and Larry Leisure (co-founder and managing partner, Chicago Pacific Founders, UCLA Anderson). UCLA Anderson Dean Tony Bernardo will provide opening remarks.

RSVP for the virtual kick-off event.
