UCLA participates in international summit focused on university engagement

UCLA Assistant Vice Chancellor for Research & Executive Director for UCLA Grand Challenges, Michelle Popowitz, JD, MP, was invited to represent the UCLA campus at the Global University Engagement Summit hosted by the University of Manchester from September 9-10, 2019.

This invite-only event brought together 60 leaders from higher education and related sectors across countries including the United Kingdom, Australia, the U.S., Hong Kong, Canada, South America and the African continent. The overarching goal of the summit was to foster the development of a community of like-minded global institutions in addressing the opportunities and challenges of engagement and social responsibility.
