Christina Hernández is the program administrator for the UCLA Sustainable LA Grand Challenge (SLA GC). She is a Los Angeles native, born and raised in the Inglewood/ Hawthorne area. She is a proud double Bruin earning two degrees from UCLA: Master of Social Welfare, from the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs, and a bachelor’s in sociology and Chicana/o Studies. Through her discipline, she has developed a passion for fueling creative ways in instilling social, environmental and sustainable change, with advocacy being her hobby. Some of her program administration activities include project coordination, event planning, team building, student-worker team management, and liaising between SLA GC and city of Los Angeles
